Supporting Careers Through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP)
Pressure Cooker Diaries supports Careers through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP) and their mission to promote and provide career opportunities in the food service industry for underserved youth through culinary arts education and employment.
We learned of the C-CAP program through the documentary film “Pressure Cooker” by Jennifer Grausman and Mark Beecker.
“Pressure Cooker captures a moment in time, as high school seniors – on the brink of adulthood – battle for achievement against a backdrop of uninspiring opportunities, with a determined and irreverent mentor leading the way.”

“Sharing makes you bigger than you are. The more you pour out, the more life will be able to pour in.” -Rohn
The C-CAP program shows kids that opportunities and success exist for those who are willing to become the people it takes to achieve them. That struck a cord with us, and we want to help. In addition to personal contributions a portion of proceeds made through our site will be donated to the Careers through Culinary Arts Program via the Network for Good.
